Diamond Peak is a seasonal skiing destination, therefore it operates generally between December and April. Keep in mind that there is no accommodation on site, so all activities are either on the slopes or in the near-by village. These are the Top 5 things to do in Diamond Peak (Nevada).

Take skiing lessons
Even professional skiers had to take skiing lessons. Skiing and snowboarding classes are available once you buy a ticket. Even kids above the age of 3 can learn how to ski. The Child Ski Center caters to children up to age 7.

Go bowling
You should know that the skiing slopes are not open all day long. If you want to have something to do in the evening go bowling with your friends. The bowling lanes are located in the Incline Village and the arcade has many other games to enjoy as well.

Go shopping for toys
If you came here with the family and the kids are really bored, make sure to stop by the Village Toys store where you can find Barbie dolls, Hello Kitty products, and even Lego toys. The place is a paradise for collectors as well. If you want souvenirs, this is also the right spot to go to while visiting Diamond Peak.

Learn how to fly the helicopter
All boys dream of becoming a pilot for an airplane or a helicopter. If this was your dream as well, you can now turn it into reality. You can choose either a helicopter tour, an aerial wedding, or lessons for how to pilot the helicopter. These are the only lessons in USA held at 6000 feet.

While you take a short break in between two ski runs you have the opportunity to grab a bite as well. The food court caters to everyone, including to those with dietary restrictions.
